Scrape the mixture into a bowl and add the peanuts, you might need
to do this with your hands. Tip the dough out onto a very lightly
floured surface and divide in half.
Gently knead the dough together until smooth and roll it into a
long sausage, approx 5 cm in diameter. Roll the sausage up in a
piece of baking paper. Then roll the paper sausage in a piece of
aluminium foil and twist each end, sealing it like a giant lolly.
Repeat with the rest of the dough and refrigerate for at least 2-3
hours. At this stage you can also freeze the logs, they keep well
for up to 5 weeks.
Pre-heat the oven to 150 deg C. Line some trays with baking paper.
Unwrap the logs and cut them into slices approx 6mm thick. Place
them on the trays 5 cm apart and sprinkle them lightly with sea
salt flakes. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
when cool enjoy them with a pot of freshly brewed Green
