Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs,
vanilla and orange rind. Add sifted flour and baking powder and
mix to a firm dough.

Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 deg c and grease baking trays with a little
butter.

Take small pieces of dough and roll them into thin sausages. Twist
them back on themselves to make the desired shape and trim ends.
Brush
with lightly beaten egg and
sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

Bake in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
