Pre-heat your oven to 160 deg C.

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3.
Sift the flour and salt into the buttery mix and gently work into
a smooth dough. You might need to use your hands but don’t
overwork the dough otherwise your cookies will be tough.
4.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface until it is approx
4mm thick.
