Hello,

well all this wet weather is great for tea sales but not so good if you were planning on a series of summer BBQs in the UK. Our hearts go out to all those people caught in the flooding across the UK and our resolve to spread the word about carbon emissions with our Green Green Tea strengthens daily.

Whatever you are doing this month do it with consciousness for our fragile planet and love for your fellow neighbour.

I loved this idea from the moment I saw it. What a powerful public installation. Simply write up what you fear most and then someone comes along and erases it next day.
If only our fears were this easy to conquer. Perhaps they are, becoming conscious to what blocks us and putting it up for strangers to see somehow diminishes the power they have over us.
I know whenever I have given myself the opportunity to write down the things I fear most and shared them with others it really has allowed me to let them go.
One day soon we'll have a board outside the Today was Fun office that works as a public service like this one does.

Fun Friday "job" wanted

If you call the office next week you might find a new voice answering the phone. Emma, our newest addition to the team at Today was Fun is not too sure what she is going to do with her Fun Fridays.
When we quizzed her in the interview she told us she would love to work with animals.
If anyone knows of something that Emma could do on Fridays that involves giving time and love to animals let us know.
It's not a donkey rescue farm but.... �

Tea time

Mum was very excited when she perfected the recipe for these Jelly Sponge slices.

They are fragile, wobbly and the jelly completely translucent.

A little fiddly to make but guranteed to wow all your afternoon tea guests when you tell them you made them yourself.
