  • 4 Green Reasons to Choose Green Green Tea
    .
    1. It's a lot more fun than chaining yourself to a tree. Trust us, chains are very uncomfortable to wear, bark is scratchy, trees have all kinds of crawly things living in them and bulldozers are big and scary.

2.We would ratify the Kyoto Pact if they'd let us. And if we knew what 'ratify' meant.

    3. Another Ice Age is just going to make everyone cold, miserable and grumpy.

4.Nature is even nicer with a cup of tea.

    Calculate your own carbon footprint

Calcluating your carbon emissions is kind of hard so we get a clever scientist in Scotland to do it.

He's already made some other calculations that you might be interested in. Log on and check out how much carbon you use commuting into work each day, or taking those short hop flights to Mallorca for the summer sun.

Then you can buy trees and invest in windfarms and other cool stuff to neutralise it. Neutralise. We like that word, neutralise. Take that carbon you're neutralised!

How much does my flight to Mallorca cost in carbon?

Ever since we have known Alison and Andy from Ellwoods of Dumfries they have been doing stuff to save our planet.

We have decided to create a new award, Save the World- Superhero of the month and give it to Alison. She's been busy training worms to eat all her kitchen waste and turn it into lovely organic compost.

If you do something ordinary or remarkable to make the world a better place we would love to hear from you.

If we all focused on eating foods that were in season it would help reduce food miles and in turn reduce carbon emissions.

Blueberries are now in season here in the UK and apart from being full of antioxidants they taste fantastic especially when you bake them inside these muffins.

We dare you to stop at one.

Recipe Green Rating - good if it saves you making multiple trips to the local patisserie.
