The reaction to our Teastack has been overwhelming!
They're flying off the shelves and all the darling
magazine and newspaper editors are falling
over
themselves to get their hands on a sample. The
reports of
one Times journalist organising her coloured paper
clips into the different sections when she finished
drinking the tea is completely untrue.
Our sourcing man, Adriano is on the case
organising more Teastacks in time for the Christmas
rush. And he's also busy collecting all the magazine
articles about it to show his
mum.

| How many trees does it take to fly to Australia? |

The answer is 6.
In August I'm flying from London to Melbourne to visit
my brand new nephew Jake. The flight is 33846 km
long and my presence on the flight will produce 3.72
tonnes of CO2 alone.
According to the
clever people at Future Forests if I plant 6 trees I will
offset the Carbon that I'll be contributing to the
environment with this journey.
Carbon dioxide emissions are one of the main causes
of global warming. Unfortunately we all produce CO2
by driving cars, boiling the kettle, watching TV or even
going on holiday. The good news is this website shows
you what we can do about it.
I will be flashing my Carbon Neutral luggage tag when
at the check in and hope that the world will be a
cleaner, healthier place for Jake and all his little mates
in years to come.

When I started up Today
was Fun nearly four years ago I was living with a film
director, Yvonne
Deutschman. She had left a successful career at the
BBC with the dream of becoming a feature film
director.
Last Friday, One Love, Yvonne's first feature film had
its London premiere. The upbeat, feel good romantic
comedy is set in Jamaica and stars Ky-Mani Marley,
one of Bob's sons in the lead role.
The story for me is one of a woman's determination
and sheer persistance in realising her dream.
Congratulations Yvonne, you are an inspiration.
