| Hello,
New Year's resolutions are a distant memory
and your evangelical approach to detox has started to fade. It's
time to crack on with 2008.
Instead of making endless lists of what you're
going to achieve this year, why don't you join me in doing one simple
thing? Each night, before you go to sleep, think of 5 things that
you're grateful for. When we make a habit of gratitude, we no longer
require a special event to make us happy. Over time you'll find
you're more optimistic about life and more likely to achieve your
goals in life. Happy 2008!

We thought it was about time that we did
something practical, as well as drinkable, about encouraging
Friendship. So, we put our thinking caps on, and came up with
a genius plan:
Put 5p from every pack of Friendship Tea
sold into a Friendship Fund and donate our Fund to someone we
think is doing a great job helping people along with the whole
Friendship thing.
Luckily, we managed to come across the
perfect first recipient of our Friendship Fund - Contact the
Elderly. If you don't already know, Contact the Elderly
arranges tea parties across Britain for isolated and lonely
elderly people.
On February 3 we're launching our
Friendship Fund with a teaparty at our head office in London.
So, next time you drink some of our
Friendship Tea, you can feel extra warm inside knowing that
you've just added to our Friendship Fund, and helped give a
hug to someone that doesn't get them very often.

| I always dreamed of
being a super hero |

...actually I really wanted to be Wonder Woman. I admired the way she
saved the world from evil by whirling baddies around and
flinging them off in all directions. Her hair was never out of
place and her blue nickerbockers were super cool
So far I have managed to become a Soil
Association Organic Hero. Look out GM modified nasties, here I
come!

If you've ever been told that you're a
person with a lot of wind in your personality then you know
exactly what we're talking about.
If you think that it's got something to
do with what you had for dinner last night then you need to
chat to Jan Harney.
Jan has a fab way of working out
someone's personality profile using a simple online quiz that
takes around 20 minutes. She can then help you to asses how
suited you are to your role and, how compatible you are with
others in your team.
We had a session with her before Christmas and are still exclaiming
"that's such an water thing to say!" or "the person that we
need to hire next really needs more earth..." A great team
building exercise to do and one that comes highly recommended
by us.

This recipe goes out to
Sarah in Austria and to all the other Tea
& Cookies fans that have written in for our "not - so -
secret" cookie recipe.
Unlike those miserable Aunties that
always leave out one special ingredient when they hand over
their recipe, these should turn out exactly as you find them
in the tin - promise!
Just remember to make the ingredients
organic and you'll be fine.
