There's so much in our soup this month we're not going
to
waste time upfront. If you know anyone who might

It emerged last week that jails across England and
Wales are using herbal teas to help bring peace and
calm to their inmates.
Many women in Downview prison, Surrey now rely
on the calming effect of a herbal brew rather than a
sedative to help calm them and assist sleep. Men's
prisons are also catching on.
The herbal tea initiative has been welcomed by prison
pharmacy departments, who are keen for prisoners to
enjoy the healthy natural herbal remedies rather than
becoming hooked on other habit forming drugs. The
most popular blends requested are to help inmates
relax and sleep.
Once they have the learnt how to sip their way to a
good night's sleep we
plan on
sending some Happiness and Friendship their way.
Imagine the possibilities.

| See the World |
 |
Any time that we see a picture of the earth from
space, the effect is
breath-taking. These photos of our planet allow us to,
collectively,
step outside the the planet we take for granted and
see it for what it
is. A visually stunning, small, vulnerable blue ball,
spinning, alone
in space.
Perhaps, if we all held this picture of earth in our
minds we would be
less likely to adopt behaviours which destroy it; less
likely to think
we can carve out pieces of it for ourselves without it
affecting the
whole.
The EarthSeeds Project is trying
to make sure that
all children of the planet have access to a picture of
the earth, taken
from space. Their goal is to provide images to every
classroom by 2020.
Maybe, this view of a whole and unified planet, is
exactly what kids
need to see, to avoid making the same mistakes the
people--who think
they make the world go round--are making today.
After all, even
allowing for cultural, geographical, political and
religious bias, the
earth is the one thing we all have in common. Susi

| Gorgeous Hampers |
 |
After years of travelling the globe and sourcing fine
foods, the people at Gorgeous in Bath have
decided to offer some very unique gift hampers online.
They buy from small suppliers like us and believe that
people would rather receive luxury and unusual foods
in their hampers. With names like Indulgence,
Decadence, Cook, Organic, Outing, New Home there is
something yummy for every occasion.

There is no recipe this month as our
designer, Softly, is in Australia sunning herself on the
beach
with her son Iggy who's clearly shunning the attention
of the
Aussie Paprazzi.
She's promised to bring us back a recipe for
Lamingtons*- March issue. Until then we'll
have to be content with the Hob Nobs at the
bottom of the biscuit tin.
* if you don't know what they are then you're in for a
treat.
