On Sunday 18th April, at the Hammersmith Palais in London, Sleepy Tea was voted the Best New Organic Product for 2005. This is the speech that I would have prepared if only I had known.

Thank you! Oh thank you! I can hardly believe this! I feel so blessed. And this award is such a special piece of etched glass. My thanks must go to Chris - my long suffering boyfriend supportive to the end or is this just the beginning? To my Head of Fun, Susi, thanks for the words and the encouragement to take one step at a time. Day Plus One your string tying abilities are truly recognised by this award. Wendy for your production when you are actually in this country, Jules for continually recalculating the figures. Softly and Jon, thanks for making everthing look so complete, Mayella for all the magazine coverage and Russell for all the press to come. Amy let me know when that Orange Peel comes in, and Phil are you free for tea this week? Eva, trade shows are not the same without you, come back soon. Andy and Robin thanks for getting everything out on time and to all my stockists for their continued support. Thank you to all the people who have bought our tea and love it enough to order it by the case. Last and by no means least thank you to my family, Mum, Dad, Mike and Jeff, you have all imbued my life with a sense of fun, sunshine, love and doingness. I couldnt have done it without you. Oh did I need to mention God too?

Today was Fun, I am sure that tomorrow will be another one!

Need a calming cuppa to help you drift away but bored of camomile and don't like Horlicks? New Sleepy Tea could be the thing to send you off on a good night's slumber. Made entirely from organic lemon balm, lime flower and lavender, this new blend from the Tea and Philosophy range has a soothing scent and a subtle fresh taste that seems more natural than many herbal teas. If the tea doesn't lull you to sleep with a smile on your face, the packet's instructions to "put your work and worries in a drawer" just might. Although at 5 for 40g it is less good if those worries are financial.

"Delighted to hear your good news. The judges were obviously taken with your product just as I was." David Gannon - Director Invigor8
