Over the last few months we have been sitting by
the fax with calculator in hand buying in all the
ingredients to make our tea for the Christmas rush. In
the middle of all this we were very excited to receive
our new packs printed
with the Soil Association
symbol. For those
of you who don't know, the Soil Association is the most
widely recognised symbol for Organic produce in the
United Kingdom. We had to fill out lots of forms and
wait for inspections and approvals but now you will be
guaranteed that our tea is not only grown, but cut,
blended and packed to the highest organic standards in
the land. Even the cotton string is organic.

We Are What We Do, is a new movement which
inspires
people to use their everyday actions to change the
world. Here's one of their ideas.
Action No. 35 Imagine receiving a letter or a card
from someone
with a heartfelt message telling you how much of an
inspiration you had been to them. Wouldn't that be
great?
Nearly as great would be sending the note yourself.
Take a moment to pen a short note to the one person
who really inspired you. Stick on a stamp. Put it in the
post box. It's that simple.
Nice to do. Nice to get.
What is there not to like about it?
what else can I do to change the world? »

Do you have a passion for what you do or are you
stuck in a two hour, round trip commute each day
doing something that simply pays the mortgage?
Vocation,Vacations was set up by Brian Kurth who
believes
that we should all have a "happiness strategy" in life
and naturally we agree.
Regardless of what you do, whether you are a doctor,
attorney, accountant, salesperson, corporate
executive, you can now try your hand at something
completely new. And the best part is you dont need to
leave the security of your paycheck to do it.

"I liked the Ikea article, here are some further tips:-
1) don't fool yourself everything is only a £1 or 2,
when I get the the checkout the bill is always £50+
2) Buy yourself a 4x4. When that silly man
directs you
to the multi-storey. A quick left, across the vegetation
and you can park close to the exit. Saves the walk
with all those bags which inevitably break!"
Andy Hurst - Seymour Hunter
"I would like to congratulate you: you were chosen as
a 'special' product right at the entry of the Fair ground
(Top Drawer- London)."

One of the sure fire ways to find
Happiness is to help yourself to a big slice of chocolate
cake. How remiss of us not to publish our favourite
mud cake recipe until now.
This is one of my mum's most tried and true
recipes. When my brother was got married, his fiancee
asked
Mum to make a chocolate mud cake for their wedding
cake. She baked the most
perfect cake in a tin that
held four times the mixture and then wrapped it in a
fine collar of
white chocolate and topped it off with chocolate hearts
and stars.
We've left off the white chocolate but
if you're tempted you can always email Carol for some
extra
design advice.
